Moscow recommends stores, eateries to join QR code system
MOSCOW, Nov 12 (PRIME) -- The Moscow government has recommended stores, food courts, and fast food chains get connected to a QR code system, which is not mandatory yet, head of the commerce and services department Alexei Nemeryuk told PRIME on Thursday.
“There is no requirement for compulsory installation of the check-in system in the cafes and restaurants so far. Nevertheless, we see how actively restaurant-keepers are getting connected to the system,” Nemeryuk said.
“We also recommend installing the QR system in stores, food courts in malls, fast food chains, and other eateries.”
The measure is a recommendation with no fines, he said.
